About Giant Panda
The pattern on the silk is lively giant panda, which is universally loved. But this quiet, bamboo-eating member of the bear family faces many threats. Its population is small and isolated as its traditional forest habitat in southwest China's mountainous areas becomes fragmented. Bamboo, the pandas' primary source of food, is a major agricultural product in the region, but whether it can be supplied to the pandas is a big question due to overdevelopment of infrastructure. Meanwhile, Giant Pandas are endangered because the bamboo forests are being cleared for farming. At present there are only few types of bamboo left. Pandas often starve when the bamboo dies off. The painting seems to call for more attention to preserving natural environment as well as protecting endangered species of animals all over the world.

Add an inscription to your silk painting scarf?
If you want something really special, and don't mind paying an extra extra fee, you can add an inscription such as your names (for couples or families) or a special wish or salutation. Our experts will translate into Mandarin Chinese, and write it on your silk painting scarf by our Chinese master.
Please try to make your inscription one clear and complete thought or sentence (with subject, verb, and object) or a couple of names arranged like: "Jack and Jane" or "Jack and Jane Forever" or "Jack and Jane, married Oct 1st, 2007". Try to avoid making "word lists", as they are not natural in Chinese language and grammar.
