Approximate Measurements:
Length of Silk Scroll: 70.8" (179cm)
Width of Wooden Scroll Roller: 18.6" (47cm)

Consists
of five characters, pronounced ‘yù sù zé bù dá’. It is translated Haste makes waste
in English. Its meaning is that hasted actions easily lead to final failure. Conducting
oneself and doing things should be based on a long term vision, focusing on the
accumulation of knowledge, being consistent. And then when conditions are ripe,
success is assured. Whenever you run your own business, there must be a pain-staking
and striving process in which you will become strong, mature and firm.
If you pursuit haste without solid foundation and practical accumulation, what you
get must be failure, because it is against the principles of nature.
Vertically, on the side next to the main characters.
Note:
Firstly, this looks best with selections that have multiple characters. Secondly,
these are Chinese calendar and writer, it could add an inscription such as a special
wish or salutation.
